To setup Outlook Express you will need following information during the process.
Your Email Address: yourname@yourdomain.com
Your Email Password: Please use the password supplied by ARTEC Interactive
Incoming Mail Server: mail.yourdomain.com
Outgoing Mail Server: smtp.your ISP.com
The outgoing mail server (SMTP) is required and can be acquired from by your ISP.
Note: Please replace "yourdomain.com" with your actual domain. |
1. Open the Outlook Express mail application. Click on the "Tools" drop down menu and select "Accounts". If it is your first time opening Outlook Express you might see the window like in Step 3 in this case you can skip Step 1 and Step 2.
2. Select the "Mail" tab, then click on "Add" and select "Mail".
3. Please enter your name into the appropriate field and click "Next".
4. Enter your email into the appropriate field and click "Next".
5. Please leave the "POP3" selection in the first field or select "POP3" if it was changed. Insert your incoming and the outgoing mail server into the appropriate fields and click "Next".
6. Please enter your email address into the "Account name" field amail address into the "Account name" field and the password into the "Password" field. Check the "Remember Password" check box and leave the "Log on using Secure Password Authentication" checkbox blank. After that click "next" to continue.
7. The basic email setup is done please click "finish".
