To setup Mail for Mac OS X.3 you will need following information during the process.

Your Email Address: yourname@yourdomain.com
Your Email Password: Please use the password supplied by ARTEC Interactive.

Incoming Mail Server: mail.yourdomain.com
Outgoing Mail Server: smtp.yourISPsmtp.com

The outgoing mail server (SMTP) is required and can be acquired from by your ISP.

1. Open Mail from the Dock or in the Applications folder.



2. Click on the menu labeled "Mail," and select "Preferences."

Select Mail, then Preferences

3. Click the Accounts button to display the pane.
4. To create a new account, click the plus sign (+) button in the bottom-left corner of the window.

5. Enter your full name, email address, and password in the corresponding fields. Click Continue.



Add the following:

5. Account Type: Select POP for the account type.
6. Description: can be whatever you like.

7. Email Address: should be your email adress.
8. Full Name: can be your name, or whatever text you'd like to be seen as your name when you send email.

9. Enter your Incoming Mail Server: should be mail.yourdomainname.co.
10. User Name: should be your FULL email adress ex: name@yourdomain.com.

11. Password: is the password provided by ARTEC Interactive.
12. Click Continue or click the Server Settings button. Type your Outgoing Mail Server which you can acquire from your ISP. Close the SMTP dialog box.



The Server port should be 25
Leave Authentication at None.

That's it! Press OK and close the ae.

That's it! Press OK and close the account window. You are ready to use Mail for OS X.
